Small business investment house IW Capital has urged investors and advisers to look for easier routes to investment for clients looking to diversify their portfolios, as they launch a new Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) portfolio service.

The EIS portfolio service will cater for both advisers and private investors with a “simple transparent fees structure” providing investors the ability to claim tax relief on the full investment amount.

Launched after considerable demand from IFAs, the service will allow easier routes to investment in a fast-growing sector of the UK economy for clients looking to diversify their portfolios with high-growth private companies.

Luke Davis, CEO and founder of IW Capital says: “We are hugely excited to be launching the service on the back of overwhelming demand from IFAs to provide a managed service for clients looking for high-growth opportunities with tax efficiency through the EIS.

“IW Capital will be looking to deploy in excess of £100m into UK-based growth companies over the next three years.”

“We have made the offering as simple, clear, fair and not misleading as possible and by offering co-investment with our private clients who are experienced seasoned-professionals we hope to deliver the best possible growth outcomes for all of the portfolio companies backed through the service.

“We have seen more demand than ever before, both from our investor base and in terms of deal flow, and so we feel this comes at an ideal time to launch. With the addition of this service, IW Capital will be looking to deploy in excess of £100m into UK-based growth companies over the next three years.”

IW Capital is an established firm in the EIS space dealing with growing businesses since 2010 and facilitating over £55m worth of EIS qualifying funding for UK-based SMEs.

The service will target established businesses that are revenue generating and on a path to profit.
